People's Rights and Social Justice

People's CORE facilitates the active involvement of the community in the struggle for social justice and systemic change. People's CORE engages in grassroots advocacy and carries out campaigns that enable the community to access and build greater political power, economic resources and social participation.

Justice for Filipino American Veterans (JFAV)

Alyansa Ng Komunidad (AK) through the December 7 Movement began to sow the seeds of the veterans campaign about 20 years ago.  These efforts evolved into Justice for Filipino American Veterans (JFAV), under People's CORE. JFAV continues to organize and mobilize the Filipino WWII veterans and the larger community to advocate for the rights and recognition of the WWII veterans.

Telecommunications Education and Assistance to Multi-languages (TEAM)

TEAM assists seniors, immigrants, and community members who have complaints and problems with their telephones.
